The Getting Started module is now live!
It equips your students with the essential knowledge and direction needed to begin their IA journey effectively. It includes a wealth of instructional videos, written guides, checklists, workshops, and practical examples, all organized into 4 key sections:
  • A clear overview of the Mathematics IA and assessment expectations.
  • A detailed breakdown of the official assessment criteria.
  • A comprehensive IA Support Hub providing up-to-date guidance on navigating academic honesty, responsible AI usage, and the effective use of mathematical software, ensuring you have the resources to lead your students to success.

The Mathematics IA Resources will soon expand into a complete, end-to-end IA suite with four additional modules currently in development:
  • Statistical Methods: Guidance on how to work with large sets of data, how to present data, and how to perform different types of statistical tests.
  • Modelling Methods: Step-by-step instructions on how to use technology and how to use creative ways to model natural phenomena.
  • Exemplars: A curated library of graded and fully annotated IAs featuring detailed examiner commentary demonstrating high-band performance across criteria.
  • The Express IA: how to complete an entire IA in under 4 hours!
Together, these modules will provide a comprehensive IA support, from idea generation to advanced analysis and polished submission
